SILUET is a five-piece rock band currently based in Sofia, Bulgaria. They are touring frequently around Europe to perform their unique and explosive mixture of classic rock ‘n' roll and a bunch of other styles variating from blues and progressive to sympho rock and Bulgarian folklore rhythms.
Their memorable sound combines beautiful bluesy female vocals, electric violin, a Jimi-like guitar sound and a drummer with a hard-hitting playing style. The vocal talent and solid stage presence of the two front-women along with the instrumental skills of the other members of the band are all at the heart of their thrilling live shows filled with raw vintage rock ‘n' roll power merging into more gentle passages - to much acclaim from the audience.
So far SILUET released 2 albums with original music: 'The Road' 2008 and 'Look Inside Yourself' 2012 The road of the band passed through a lot of festivals and different live venues on the Balkans and in Europe, where they perform their unique and explosive rock.
It's worth to mention: 'Vinjerock festival' - Norway 2008; 'Spirit of Burgas' - Bulgaria 2009, 2011, 2012, 2013; 'Kavarna Rock' - Bulgaria 2009; 'Basker Fest' - Macedonia 2013, some of the most popular live venues in Oslo, Amsterdam, Istanbul and of course their home Bulgaria, warming up for 'Uriah Heep', Joe Lynn Turner (3 times), 'Fun Lovin Criminals', 'DePhazz', 'Kaizers Orkestra', 'Animal Alpha', 'Siena Root' and more...
They also worked on several projects with Bulgarian National Radio Big Band and Burgas Philharmonic Orchestra.
3 times finalists of the National Radio contest for new Bulgarian pop and rock music 2010, 2011, 2013.
They have a successful collaboration with the well known english lyricist Phil Jackson .
SILUET will have the honour to represent Bulgaria on the EUROSONIC Festival in Netherlands 2014
